New construction of 54 affordable, family rental units in Phase I. Phase I completed in 2007. Financing from tax exempt bonds issued by and purchased by the Community Preservation Corporation, The City of Albany Industrial Development Agency, HUD RHF funds and HOPE VI Funds, both facilitated by the Albany Housing Authority, Federal Home Loan Bank Subsidy and equity from low-income housing tax credits provided by MMA Financial, Inc. In May 2007, the project was awarded the New York State Association for Affordable Housing Award for Excellence.
